Since I am no longer a Close To My Heart consultant...I have decided to use this blog for other things. I do not want to delete this blog due to links to it on Pinterest and other places. But I do want to put this blog to use. So, I will be posting Odds & Ends to it from time to time.
I used CTMH stamp set "Happy Place" (March's Stamp Of The Month)...coloring everything in with CTMH Watercolor Pencils.
I also used CTMH Ivy Lane My Stickease Assortment
for the lace top border and the pink flower in the left top corner.
The silver metal flower is from the CTMH Base & Bling Collection
(this flower set has been retired.)
The bottom yellow gingham flower was from my stash.
The base of my card is CTMH Champagne cardstock, which I embossed with
one of the new CTMH Embossing Folders called Damask. I added CTMH
Hollyhock Zipper Lace to the one side. I then used Hollyhock cardstock
to make my square piece, which I distressed all the edges of. I
stamped on the heart which is from the CTMH Sweet & Lovely stamp
set, which is one of the stamp sets that come with the CTMH Artbooking
Cricut Bundle. I first stamped it with Chocolate Ink...and then stamped
it again using White Ink. The "Many Thanks" is from the Chantilly
Paper Pack...one of the borders on one of the designer papers. I then
added three different colored flowers to it (which are not CTMH.)
I used up some of my scraps from the CTMH Sparkle & Shine Paper Pack.
I cut the hearts overlay from the CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. And
the hearts along both sides of it are cut from the CTMH Artiste Cricut
Cartridge. I then added four pearls, using two different size pearls. I
hand wrote the Love and You with a white marker and attached them with
3D foam dots to make them "pop" up a little.
I made this card using the "In The Spotlight" technique.
I used the CTMH "Sweet & Lovely" stamp set...which is one of the
stamp sets included with the CTMH Artbooking Cartridge. I stamped the
flower heart stamp around the card in black ink, except for the center
flower heart. I stamped that in cranberry ink...then colored it in.
The frame around the the colored heart is cut out using the Artbooking
Cartridge. I also added a little black flower to it that is from the
CTMH Fabric Necklace Kit.
