Change in the New Consultant Kit

Close to My Heart just announced that there will be a change in the New Consultant program and kit.  The smaller kit that is currently available for $49 will no longer be available after December 31st.  We will only be offering one New Consultant Kit.  The price will be $99 and the kit will have a value of around $300.

If you are interested in becoming a Close to My Heart Consultant and purchasing the $49 kit, you have until December 31st to do so.  After that, only the $99 kit will be available.

Merry Christmas card using Cricut Artbooking

Made this Merry Christmas card using the CTMH Cricut Artbooking Cartridge.

I used the papers from the CTMH Sparkle & Shine Paper Pack.

I also used CTMH glitter gems and bakers twine.

I used four different designer papers to cut out the trees, the Christmas bulb, the snowflake and the words Merry Christmas.  I used red cardstock to cut out the reindeer.

Faith Shines Bright

Made this Faith Shines Bright card using several different shades of CTMH Exclusive Inkpads for the background, sponged on...and two different CTMH stamp sets, Illuminate & Always Grateful.

The two trees are from the Always Grateful stamp set - and the lightpole, light and words are from the Illuminate stamp set.

I made this Celebrate the Season card using the Close To My Heart "Sparkle & Shine" Paper Pack from the Holidays From The Heart Catalog.

I did not use any images (stamps) on it...just the papers.

The Celebrate the Season border is one of the borders on the top of one of the paper patterns.

 

 

 

Thanks A Bunch

Made this "Thanks A Bunch" card using CTMH Babycakes Paper Packet...and CTMH stamp sets A Flowering Bunch and Remarkable Wreath.  I stamped the wreath with CTMH Chocolate Exclusive Inkpad and then stamped the designs on the wreath with CTMH Autumn Terracotta Exclusive Inkpad...as with the Thanks A Bunch.

I then made a gray bow using the ribbon from the CTMH For Always Cardmaking Kit.

Thankful For My Family

 

Made this scrapbook layout using Close To My Heart "Huntington" papers/cardstock.

I sponged on CTMH Honey ink onto the base of my layout.

I cut out the leaves and the pumpkin, along with the words "Give Thanks" and "Thankful For My Family" using my Cricut CTMH Artbooking Cartridge.

I added a picture of my family, distressing the edges of the layers...and also distressed the edges of the base of my layout.

I then added a pumpkin brad at the top.

 

 

 

Autumn is nature at her best

Made this card using CTMH "Huntington" Paper Pack and CTMH stamp set "Fall Harvest"

I added CTMH burlap and stamped the leaf and the words with CTMH Exclusive Inkpad color Topiary...adding distressed ink around the edges.

 

 

Baby Jesus

Made this card to display on a table in our home during the Christmas season.

I used the stamp set called "Mary and Babe" from the Holidays From The Heart catalog.

I colored it all in with CTMH Exclusive Markers...colors: Buttercup & Indian Corn Blue.

I layered burlap for the base of the card.  Then added sparkle stars and dots.

Christmas Card

Made this Merry Christmas card using the Sparkle & Shine paper pack and the Trim The Tree stamp set, and the Sparkle Holiday Shapes from the Holidays From The Heart catalog.
I layered the base of my card with a printed pattern.

 I cut out the red border on my Cricut using the CTMH Artbooking Cartridge.
I used white cardstock to stamp my images on.

I sponged green ink around the edges and added a green bow to the top.

Bulb Christmas Card

I made this Christmas Bulb shaped Christmas card using the Close To My Heart "Sparkle & Shine" paper pack from the Holidays from the Heart catalog.
I cut the bulb shape out using the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge...along with the words Merry Christmas.
I used CTMH red & white Harvest Baker's Twine to wrap around the top part of the card and also to tie a string at the top (this could also be used a Christmas Tree ornament.
The card opens from the bottom up.

Just a Note

Made this card using the CTMH Sarita Paper Pack and one of overlays from the CTMH Cricut Cartridge Artbooking.
I stamped on "Just a Note" and added a little sticky heart to it and then strung twine through the heart and made the bow at the top.

Thanks For The Memories

I made this "Thanks for the Memories" card using the papers in the CTMH "For Always" paper pack.
I found the template for the dress and the clutch at Mementoes In Time.
I used CTMH black distressed Ink around all the edges of the card....and also around the "Thanks For the Memories" tag (which I printed out.)
I added a cream color bow to the dress and little cream color pearls to the bow and also on the clutch.

Trinket Box

Made this Trinkets box using the Cricut Craft Room.  This box is one of the files that come with the Cricut Craft Room.
I used CTMH ProPlayer cardstock for the top and bottom of  the box.
I then cut out the word Trinkets with my Cricut CTMH Artbooking Cartridge with Outdoor Demin cardstock....and attached them with 3D foam.

Autumn Scrapbook Page

Made this scrapbook page called "Autumn".
The background is CTMH Cashmere cardstock...the chipboard elements are from the Flirty Complements (in the "While Supplies Last") section at CTMH.  Then I added some CTMH Flip Flaps to it to add pictures to.
I'm not sure which pictures I am going to put in them yet.  I am going to add some writing to the top area of the picture Flip Flaps once I figure out which pictures I will be using.

You Are My Happy

Made this You are my Happy card using the "You Are My Happy" trio stamp set from the September's National Stamping Month set (the Heart & the Words).
I sponged the background with Cashmere Exclusive Inks® Stamp Pad and used papers from the CTMH Dream Pop paper packet.
I distressed the edges on the card and all the layers then added the button.

Autumn Card

Made this "Autumn" card using cardstock from both the Sarita & Laughing Lola Paper Packets...along with the CTMH Cricut Artbooking Cartridge (the Autumn title and the leaves).
I used CTMH Chocolate Distressing Ink around the edges of the card - and I used the CTMH Edge Distresser around the two background layers.

I "kind of" followed one of the card layout patterns from the Jeanette Lynton Originals Book

CTMH Cricut Arbooking, Sept. Stamp of the Month & You Are My Happy

Made this Fall card using Close To My Heart's Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, September's Stamp of the Month - Poster Tidings & from the Trio Stamp Set celebrating National Stamping Month - You Are My Happy (the bunny)

I used CTMH brown distressing ink and sponged it on the card base and also on the poster card that I stamped on with CTMH Cranberry ink, colored the leaves on the tree with CTMH Topiary Ink and then colored the Bunny in with CTMH Honey Marker.

Life Is Good

Made this card using one of the New products released in the CTMH current catalog - the Irresistibles Hexagons.  I colored them in with CTMH Inkpads Red Barn, Gypsy & Sunset.   I really like how each hexagon has different designs on them.  It comes with several different sizes included.

To make this card I sponged a white cardstock with CTMH inkpad color Cashmere.
I used the CTMH stamp set Remarkable Wreath.
I stamped the branch wreath with Barn Red and then used Gypsy to stamp on the flowers on it.
I then stamped the Life is Good with the color Sunset.

double the fun

Made this card using CTMH Sky ink and brushed it on the card to create the sky effect.
I used CTMH ProPlayer papers for the red and black print onesies and pink paper from the CTMH Dream Pop paper for the pink onesie.
I cut them out with my Cricut Mini...along with the words "double the fun".
I used CTMH red twine to create the clothes line.
The fence and the grass I bought at Crafts Direct craft store.

Congrats.....

Made this Congrats card using CTMH Inkpads Pacific and Sky...I used a sponge with the two colors on it (one color on each end of the sponge) and brushed it on the card in a circle motion.
I used the same colors to stamp the images.
I used the CTMH stamp Set "For Always"

3"x3" Thank You Card

Made this 3"x3" Thank You card using CTMH's new Laughing Lola Papers.
I weaved the papers to make it look like a little quilt.
I punched out three little hearts.....the top heart is paper from Laughing Lola - the two side hearts are Gypsy cardstock. 
The "Thank You!" stamped on there is from the CTMH "A Garden" stamp set.

New Product Line being released August 1st

There are lots of new products being released on August 1st when our new catalogs become live.
One of the new products lines I am excited about (and want to share) is CTMH's new Base & Bling wearable crafting art.
There is a necklace, hair clips, rings, headband and wrist cuff that you use jewels, fabric, florals, word accents, etc. to create your wearable art.
